The Storm Eunice Set Up

And finally …

Just as I was losing the will to live and felt like I was WAAAAY to exposed in this pub he started mansplaining investing and asked me if I’d read a famous book by Robert Kiyosaki which had made his uncle a millionaire 20 years ago. Jeez. I was over this dude. I can’t fuck a car. Why would any of this matter?

I took his number to arrange another group get together but I may not be available that day. I just don’t get people who bleed on you. This wasn’t even a date! It was a clumsy set up. As we left he sealed my conviction not to be available with a butt grab. Yeah…. Nope!

Smugly

We finally left and made it to the dinner which was quickly warmed up as I made hangry noises.  I had so much food, making up for the hunger from before. My friends tried to convince me that yes, Angry dude was a dick but wouldn’t that make him shag worthy? I asked why would I want to have sex with someone so angry and not in a good place? They figured sex was needed after such a long hiatus.

To put it in perspective this group of friends are all couples. The last one only recently got into a relationship leaving me as the last remaining singirl in the group. I’m more than happy with this situation. I love happy couples and they are a mix of couples who have been together for weeks to those that have been together for nearly a decade. Single friends are great but couples give you hope.  Love my couples but, they can be smugly and want you to be in a relationship all the time. And they’re always encouraging you to date those that clearly aren’t right for you just in case they’re the one.

I’m grateful that my friends see a guy out and immediately think of me. I feel loved. But, that doesn’t mean us singirls have to settle for men with potential or who are clearly broken.

Anyway I’ll take this as a win as I went out into a public space and my flirt game isn’t entirely broken. But anything more than that? I’ll pass thanks and leave him for the next one.

The Storm Eunice Set up – Storm Eunice, I know you tried but you blew debris into my path instead of debonaire. I’ll pass on this one Girl.
