Thank you for the friends I have with whom I laugh and cry

Thanks to dodgy pick-up lines that make me roll my eyes

Thank you for the food we share and all that lovely booze

And for once, me remembering to bring my sensible flat shoes

Thank you for the cabbies that see me home at night

Thank you for giving me the speed to run instead of getting into that fight

(she was big, I couldn’t have taken her. And over a man? Nah!)

Thank you for getting me home again and this time with my phone! (result)

But most of all, thank you all for making sure I woke up all alone 🙂
